MACHINE
The present form of MACHINE was founded in january 2009, in Stockholm, Sweden. It exists in the fusion between Martin Warn (a.k.a. Bonefish) and Ed Winson.

MACHINE is their creative intersection and the essence of their musical experiences and influences.

Although the band does not have a record deal at this point, they are confident in their work. With focus solely on songwriting they’ve created a full repertoire, from which the team has chosen to start off with four (4) songs.

“This is just the beginning. I know it’s a cocky thing to say, and maybe even a sort of cliché, but it’s true. We’ve got the material, Nevo got the sound, in a way we just need to get it on tape.” [Bonefish]

YOAD NEVO
The multi talented Producer, Mixer and Mastering Engineer Yoad Nevo is famous for his production work, including Pet Shop Boys, Moby, Goldfrapp, Dave Gahan, Morcheeba and Air. As well as Girls Aloud, Jem, Bryan Adams, Sugababes, The Dandy Warhols, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Duran Duran, The Bangles, Ronan Keating and many more.

He is also a senior consultant and plugin designer for Waves and has helped develop and design some of the most highly regarded audio software in the music industry today. He recently shared his exclusive recording techniques along with his production and mixing expertise in the book ‘Hit Record’.

Location? Anywhere in the world actually. We like the to think of MACHINE as global, or at least European, so anything goes. Rehearsals will take place in Berlin, so if you’re from anywhere around that area, it’s surely an advantage.

Next week we’re gonna start rehearsal for upcoming live shows and showcases. Since we’ve been focusing on writing/recording (well that’s actually the only thing we’ve been doing), this is sort of another step for MACHINE.

It’s a good thing. We’re really looking forward to take all our stuff to the live stage, and we’d love to see you there when the time comes.

But we’re not really sure what will happen with our songs when we start messing around with them? How will they grow? Which path will they choose?

The concept of MACHINE, well… the rules if you will, is (no matter the costs) to always be true. And to always allow our creative processing to have a free flow. I.e. anything might happen. We might be walking out of these rehearsals as a completely different band. :-)

All we know is two things. One: We like change! And we like the creative challenge that change brings. Two: We’re gonna do our best to make MACHINE the best live performance you’ve ever seen!

Trust us… this is larger than life!

We’ve done some major changes on our site! We simply got tired of all the stuff that kept adding on, making it bigger and heavier than any band site should be these days.

And with the purpose to make a more clean page, we ended up with just a simple blog-feed. Doesn’t get better or simpler than this!

We still got some links on the right side, so it’s not ‘that’ simple. You’ll still find our music, videos, a link to our download page, and all the things that you just can’t leave behind!

But, in short. This is the only site you’ll need to keep track of MACHINE.
